In a blender, mix the frozen tangerine sherbet with the vodka.
Blend on high settings until you obtain a smooth and lump free cream.
Transfer the tangerine sgroppino cream in champagne glasses.
Pour in a small amount of sparkling prosecco wine and stir gently with a tablespoon before serving.
Traditionally, Sgroppino is made with lemon gelato and served between main courses at special sit-down events such as weddings and anniversaries to "rinse the palate".
Instead of Tangerine Sherbet you can use your favorite Sherbet flavors such as lemon, lime, grapefruit, or Strawberry.
